Enquire NowHonestly didn't expect much. Bought it because my RWA started enforcing segregation and I needed a green bin bag. But this thing actually holds. I cook a lot — rice water, vegetable peels, leftover curry — and not once has it leaked on the way to the bin. The fact that it composts is a bonus. Will not go back to plastic.
We standardised Gaia Flex across all 84 flats in our society six months ago. Waste segregation compliance went up significantly — residents actually follow through when the bag is already provided. CPCB certification was important for us from a compliance standpoint. Reordering in bulk every two months now.
I compost everything from my kitchen on my terrace. Earlier I'd have to transfer waste from the bag to the compost bin which was messy and honestly put me off some days. With Gaia Flex I just put the whole bag in — bag decomposes with the waste. Game changer for home composting. Wish more people knew this was possible.
Running three cloud kitchens means a LOT of wet waste every single day. We were going through plastic bags like crazy and it was genuinely bothering me from a waste perspective. Switched to Gaia Flex six weeks ago. The jumbo size handles our prep waste without tearing — that was my main concern and it held up. Slightly more expensive than what we were using before but the difference is not significant at our volumes. Will continue.
Two kids, one small kitchen, and a husband who still doesn't fully understand what goes in which bin. I keep the green Gaia Flex bag in the kitchen bin and the blue one next to it. Even he gets it now. No leaks, no smell, and I feel like I'm actually doing something useful rather than just buying eco products that don't work.
Our hotel made the switch as part of our sustainability initiative. Kitchen team was skeptical at first — previous compostable bags we tried were weak and tore mid-shift which creates a mess nobody wants. Gaia Flex has been different. Strong enough for bulk prep waste, leak resistant base works. The IS 17088 certification also helped us with our green hotel audit documentation.
We put Gaia Flex wet waste bags in all pantry bins across our three-floor office. Honestly the certification was what convinced procurement — CPCB registered, IS 17088 compliant, TÜV Austria certified. Hard to argue with that paper trail. Staff adjusted quickly. We've been able to include this in our ESG waste reporting this quarter.
Was skeptical because I've bought biodegradable bags before that were clearly just marketing. Did some research and Gaia Flex actually has the CPCB registration number printed on the bag itself which you can verify. That's what made me try it. Been using for about a month — holds well, no leaks, smell is fine. My only feedback would be to make the sizes clearer on the website before buying. Otherwise solid product.
